Living bridges

The bridges seen here are constructed by using the roots of the Indian Ficus tree (Ficus Benghalensis). They are found in north western India and some are reported to be over 500 years old! Wow! These are fine examples of organic architecture.

Here are a few images of some of my work that is in a group show called "On Paper" at the Williams Tower Gallery 2800 Post Oak Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77056 from December 7- January 7, 2011.

These are small works on paper, 2008-2009 that measure approximately 4"x6".

New Work "Lichens"

This is a newly finished piece titled "Lichens", acrylic on board 40"x32". It was submitted to the Hunting art prize competition for judging and a chance to win 50K! We'll keep those fingers crossed.
